Liftborne Series

For young Swedish alpine skiers in the 70s and 80s, there was one dream that outshone all others: qualifying for the legendary Donald Duck Cup finals in Tärnaby. It was the pinnacle of ambition, the event everyone talked about and every year we witnessed new alpine stars rise from those magical slopes.

We have a vision & dream to take the Liftborne series beyond Sweden and finish everything with a vibrant international spring final full of snow, sunshine, and great competitions. This is our shared goal, together with 10K, we proudly introduce The Liftborne Series a vibrant mix of classic and newly crafted competitions that together form an inspiring, energetic, and challenging circuit. Our vision is to build an event series that young athletes will look back on not just with pride, but with the feeling that this was where their journey truly began.

Compete across all disciplines. Push your limits. Earn points along the way. And chase the honor of becoming our first-ever overall series champion in April.

With a prize table well above the ordinary and events designed to spark joy and ambition. The adventure begins 5–6 January with the Funäsdalen Winter Opening and reaches its grand finale in April—right where it started—during a week packed with racing, ski testing and pure alpine excitement.

WORLD-CLASS TRAINING BY 10K

Alongside the competitions, 10K offers world-class training opportunities throughout the season. And from 13–15 April, racers can join an exceptional training block with dedicated speed sessions and focused technique days.

We’ll have the slopes entirely to ourselves an almost unmatched opportunity to test skis, refine performance, and fine-tune technique ahead of the season’s final competitions.
